Severe Toothache

4. Apply cold compress if swollen
5. Avoid very hot or cold foods
6. Contact us immediately - pain often indicates serious issues

What Our Patients Say

Don't just take our word for it - hear from our emergency dental patients

"A few days ago, I needed an emergency treatment for my loose veneer. Bourne Dental At SOBO gave me an immediate appointment the next day. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted by Lou with a warm, friendly and reassuring smile. Dr. Ismail and Danielle are highly skilled professionals who are clearly passionate delivering a first class service. Following the new patient exam, Dr. Ismail explained to me patiently in detail what needs to be done and they made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I can’t thank them enough for providing me the much needed support at that time. Dr. Ismail even e-mailed me after my appointment to thank you and gave some advice and recommendations for my veneers. If you are looking for a professional and top quality dental experience, I highly recommend Bourne Dental At SOBO. The best Dental Clinic I’ve been in Bournemouth. Again, Thank you to the whole Team. "Cannot recommend more highly. Each person on the team are amazing, kind and understanding. For someone who has been historically very nervous at showing my teeth, let alone getting work done. All I can say is you are in safe hands. Never rushed, time to talk and explain any anxieties. Very fair in looking at the best outcomes, and understanding of cost. Real team, doing an amazing job of not just teeth but also for me, my mental health. Just a local sobo dentist you can rely on to not just fix teeth, but show genuine kindness, care and dignity. Thanks guys! Looking forward to appointment next week, never thought I'd say that about dentistry!"

Emergency broken tooth patient

"I needed an emergency dentist for my son at a weekend. I called Bourne Dental at Sobo and Ismail was so helpful. I sent him some photos on WhatApp and he helped straight away, we decided a weekend appointment wasn't needed, so he booked us in for the Monday, as Ismail didn't want us to have to pay the weekend emergency rates if we didn't need it. My son has autism and really struggles with dentists, but I was so shocked at how well he did there. We've never got further than a dentist putting a mirror in his mouth before, but this time he sat for an x-ray and let the dentist scrape some of his teeth. The whole environment was so relaxed, they put some TV on for my son while he was being treated. Although my son has an NHS dentist, I'm going to take him for more visits to Bourne Dental as he was so much more relaxed there. I'm also going to join the practice, as it was much nicer than my other dentist that I pay privately for (couldn't get an NHS one) and I really love the staff."
